Dr. Liu Shu Jian graduated from Tianjin Medical University in 1992, and was later awarded a medical degree from the same school. Dr. Liu also received training at Tianjin Central Hospital of Gynecology Obstetrics. She specializes in the treatment and diagnosis of obstetric and gynecological disease.

Dr. Liu has over twenty years of clinical experience. Before joining Tianjin United Family Hospital, Dr. Liu worked in Tianjin Dagang Maternal and Child Health Hospital, Tianjin Dagang Hospital, and several private women’s and children’s hospitals. She is experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of obstetric disease, especially the observation and treatment of difficult labor and other obstetric complications. She can also independently perform surgery in various common gynecological procedures and a variety of family planning surgeries. Dr. Liu has done a lot of clinical work on reducing the rate of caesarean sections and increasing the rate of natural delivery which has seen significant results. Her diagnostic accuracy of outpatients and inpatients is above 95%. Dr. Liu is a member of Tianjin Teda Malpractice Appraising Expert Group.
