Facilities

The UFH Reproductive Medicine Center is over 500 square meters, divided into clinical and laboratory areas. Our comfortable patient clinic encompasses a full-service infertility clinic with treatment rooms, ultrasound facilities, a private semen and IUI collection rooms and an intrauterine insemination (IUI) laboratory and operating room. We pride ourselves on the state-of-the-art reproductive medicine technologies located within our in vitro fertilization (IVF) and assisted conception laboratories. Their capabilities include egg collection, transplantation, embryo culture and freezing, and semen processing.

Specialists

Wanhong Mu
IVF Director
Dr. Mu served as the director of the Reproductive Center of the 455 Hospital of the PLA in Shanghai and the director of the Reproductive Medicine Center of the Dongguan Maternal and Child Health Hospital. Dr. Mou has been engaged in gynecology and reproductive clinical research and teaching for more than 20 years. Specialize in assisted reproduction has the technology to help pregnant and palace laparoscopy in treatment of infertility diseases, skilled in the treatment of secretory disease inside, habitual abortion, polycystic ovary syndrome, uterine adenomyosis, endometriosis cysts, caused by intrauterine adhesions, uterine malformations, uterine cavity lesions, a disease of the ovary and oviduct infertility, specialize in ivf cycle of medication, take eggs, transplantation, multiplets reduction and ovarian hyperstimulation treatment, maternal women psychological guidance, etc.
Dr. Mu has published more than 30 academic papers, three national patents, two editor-in-chief papers and three associate editor-in-chief papers. Participated in editing two treatises. Taught more than 100 people. He was a medical consultant for the reproductive health section of Shanghai TV’s Golden Channel. And obtained the medical psychology instructor post ability certificate.
Dr. Mu is a member of the Family Planning Committee of the Nanjing Military Area Command. Member of the First Committee of Reproductive Medicine Management Committee of Guangdong Medical Industry Association; Member of the First Standing Committee of Reproductive Gynecology, Guangdong Grassroots Medical Society; Member of the 3rd Committee of Reproductive Medicine Branch of Guangdong Medical Association; Member of the 2nd Committee of Reproductive Health Professional Committee of Guangdong Maternal and Child Health Association; Member of the first session of Gynecology Professional Committee of Guangdong Grassroots Medical Association; Member of the first standing committee of Reproductive Health Branch of Guangdong Health Association and vice chairman of the second committee of Reproductive Medicine Professional Committee of Dongguan Medical Association.

Lie MANG

Administration Director of IVF Lab
In 2007, he graduated from the State Key Laboratory of Inner Mongolia University with a master’s degree and studied under the academician Xu Rigan, a famous international expert in reproductive technology.
After graduation in 2007, he worked in the Department of reproduction and pregnancy aid of Tianjin First Central Hospital, and completed the Department rotation and various operation training in Tianjin first central hospital. In the same year, he went to the First Affiliated Hospital of Lanzhou University for further training of reproductive center, and obtained professional training certificate of reproductive technology after passing all examinations.
Since joining Tianjin United Family Hospital in 2012, he has participated in the establishment and various works of the reproductive center. With 12 years of working experience, proficient in the basic knowledge of embryology, skilled in egg collection, semen processing, insemination, embryo culture, embryo transfer, embryo freezing and other operations.

Xinyong Liu

IVF Scientific Director
Dr. Liu completed his undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral studies at Shandong Agricultural University from 2002 to 2011 and received his doctoral degree.
Dr. Liu has more than 16 years of clinical work and management experience in assisted reproduction laboratories. Prior to joining Tianjin United Family Hospital, he worked in the Assisted Reproduction Laboratory in the Department of Reproductive Genetics at Tai’an City Central Hospital.
In 2008, Dr. Liu studied Assisted Reproduction Laboratory Technology in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University. He participated in the qualification review of Intrauterine Insemination and In Vitro Fertilization as well as the verification once every two years in the center, so he is familiar with the qualification review process and inspection content. Since the trial operation of the center, the clinical pregnancy rate of fresh embryo transfer has remained above 55%, and that of frozen embryo transfer has been close to 50%. Related technical master assisted reproductive lab, including conventional in vitro fertilization (IVF), egg cytoplasm single sperm microinjection (second generation test-tube baby), embryo and blastocyst vitrification freezing and thawing, assisted hatching, prokaryotic rating score and embryo, embryo transfer, blastocyst cleavage ball biopsy (three generations of IVF), etc.
Dr. Liu has presided over a joint special project of Shandong natural science fund and a Tai’an City science and technology development plan. He has published more than 10 SCI indexed papers (including 4 papers as the first author/corresponding author), and his papers published on Human Reproduction by the first author have been cited by domestic and foreign peers for nearly 170 times. Dr.Liu was awarded twice, and personal third-class merit once.

Yuying JIANG
Fertility & Reproductive Medicine Physician
Member of women’s Health Committee of Tianjin anti aging society
Dr. Jiang Yuying received her medical degree from Tianjin Medical University. She also studied at Tianjin Chinese Medicine University. Dr. Jiang completed her residency at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Nankai Hospital and Shuige Hospital in 2003.
Before joining in TJU, Dr. Jiang served in Tianjin Xianyang Road Hospital. Most recently, she worked at the Reproductive Medicine Center of the 254th Hospital of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army and she was responsible for obstetrics out-patient surgery, egg collection and IUI etc.
Dr. Jiang has over ten years of clinical experience. She specializes in family planning, tubal ligation, diagnostic curettage, ovarian cyst puncture, uterine flesh tumor ablation, culdocentesis, genital plastic surgery, hymen repair, bartholin gland cyst incision and drainage, treatment of leukoplakia of the vulva, and vulva neoplasm ablation. Dr. Jiang received a certificate from the Reproductive Center of Guangzhou South Hospital.

YAN, Xue
MS
Reproductive Medicine Center Physician
Dr. Yan Xue received her medical degree in 2008 and was awarded her Master’s Degree in Endocrinology of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2011, from Shandong University. She completed her Master degree coursework under the famous reproductive endocrinology expert Professor Zijiang Chen. Post her Master’s, Dr. Yan completed her residency at Tianjin Third Central Hospital in 2014, where she worked in the inpatient and outpatient wards thereby specializing in diagnosing and treating various common diseases of obstetrics and gynecology independently.
Before joining Tianjin United Family Hospital, Dr. Yan worked in Tianjin Third Central Hospital; she also received training at Peking University Third Hospital and received the certificate in Reproductive Medicine. While practicing, she developed expertise in Obstetrics and Gynecology, backed by a proven track record with proficiency in ovulation induction, hysterosalpingography, Intrauterine insemination(IUI)，oocyte retrieval and embryo transfer . Dr Yan specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of ovarian dysfunction and polycystic ovary syndrome.
Apart from her clinical work, Dr. Yan has published several articles in prominent medical journals including the Journal of International Reproductive Health and Family Planning and Chinese Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

AI, Songyi
Attending Physician
Dr. Ai graduated from Shenyang Medical College and received his bachelor degree in 1994. He received further education in the department of urinary surgery in the Beijing Friendship Hospital from October 1995 to October 1996. He then participated in the assisted reproductive clinical training program at Peking University Third Hospital reproductive center from April to July 2016, where he received his reproductive medicine practitioner’s qualification certificate. Dr. Ai is currently the academic committee member of Andrology for the Chinese Non-government Medical Institutions Association, the council member of The Fifth Sexual Science Association and standing member of the first prostatic disease branch of Tianjin sexual Science Association.
Dr. Ai has over 20 years’ of clinical experiences. Specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of male infertility, varicocele, sexual dysfunction (erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, retrograde ejaculation, etc.), prostate disease (prostatitis, prostatic hyperplasia, etc.), urinary and reproductive system infection, abnormal development of male external genitalia, etc., and the male surgery operation is less specialized Treatment of asthenospermia and microsurgery for varicocele and obstructive azoospermia.
Dr. Ai speaks Mandarin.
