UFH Medical Volunteers in Collaboration with Han Hong’s Charity Serve in Sichuan Earthquake Zone

On April 20th, 2013, the United Family Healthcare (UFH) received a request of medical volunteers for Sichuan earthquake relief from the Han Hong Charity Foundation. More than 100 UFH staff responded to the call when the message was released within the UFH network. A team of 12 volunteers from the disciplines of emergency medicine, surgery, internal medicine, obstetrics, pediatrics and rehabilitation joined Han Hong Aixin medical relief team and immediately left for the epicenter in Long Man township, Lu Shan County, Sichuan Province. Additionally, UFH prepared more than 30 boxes of relief materials including medications, medical consumables and food and baby formula, to be taken to the disaster stricken areas by the team. To the victims of Sichuan earthquake, all UFH staff send our thoughts and prayers.
