Traditional Chinese Medicine

The Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine is committed to providing international level, comprehensive health care services. By combining traditional Chinese medicine with western medicine, biomechanics, health cultivation and rehabilitation, we created a more standardized scientific concept. Our traditional Chinese medicine physicians, who are well-versed in TCM theories with rich clinical experience and working experience abroad, have established a reliable team in TJU.

We apply twin standards in diagnosis and treatment from both TCM and western medicine. In order to give integrated treatment for our patients and achieve a better curative effect, we provide treatments such as acupuncture and moxibustion, massage, chiropractic, hot compress therapy, health cultivation and rehabilitation, tai chi, and dietotherapy.

TCM treatment is effective in treating spinal diseases, sports injuries, and postpartum pelvic rehabilitation. It also has satisfactory curative effects in treating diseases including cervical spondylopathy, lumbar disc herniation, cervical vertigo, scapulohumeral periarthritis, postpartum lumbar pain, postpartum pelvic deformation, postpartum constipation, sports injuries, adolescent scoliosis, irritable bowel syndrome, tension headache, infantile muscular torticollis and incoordination between the spleen and the stomach in children.

We offer a 24-hour appointment-driven service. Our physicians can speak both Mandarin and English. For several other languages, interpreters are available.
